This is up to you. It works as is.

But in "libmpathpersist/Makefile" is done as in my patch:
$ git grep '$(LN) $(DESTDIR)$(syslibdir)/$(LIBS) $(DESTDIR)$(syslibdir)/$(DEVLIB)'
libmpathpersist/Makefile:       $(LN) $(DESTDIR)$(syslibdir)/$(LIBS) $(DESTDIR)$(syslibdir)/$(DEVLIB)
