[EnMasse] Durable subscription node.js client issue

Trying out the subscriber and receiver clients in rhea
(examples/durable_subscription), I get the following error from both
clients:

 node subscriber.js -p 443
[connection-1] disconnected
[connection-1] disconnected

The topic has been created in a brokered address space and I can send and
receive messages against the topic using the simple_send/simple_recv
clients.

The console dashboard does not show the subscriber and publisher as having
connected.
