Week 23/2007

== Most important happenings ==

No major happenings.

== EPEL SIG Meeting ==

=== Attending ===

>From the Steering Committee:

 * knurd (ThorstenLeemhuis) (partly)
 * mmcgrath (MikeMcGrath)
 * nirik (KevinFenzi)
 * dgilmore (DennisGilmore)
 * stahnma (MichaelStahnke)

Missing from the Steering Committee:

 * quiad (KarstenWade) (had fun at the dentist)

Others that participated the meeting: Jeff_S, rdieter f13

=== Summary ===
 * some discussions about a new meeting time; we'll talk about it when
we are full again

 * repotags -- all; the steering committee talks about it in private
currently if and (mainly) how to do them; we mainly need to put in in words

 * EPEL mock configs in Fedora's mock package; nirik and Jeff_S will
look into this over the next few days

 * comps.xml for EPEL -- dgilmore will get one started; stahnma
volunteered to help

 * bodhi/testing repo/final repo layout -- bodhi needs koji these days,
so EPEL needs to switch to koji to use bodhi (which we want for several
reasons); dgimore will talk to mbonnet about a timeframe to use koji
(which needs adjustments) for EPEL

 * vacant seat in the steering committee -- Jeff_S self nominated; but
we want to solve the repotags issue first (over the next week), and fill
the vacant seat afterwards

 * template for requesting a contributer to get their packages into EPEL
 -- idea is welcomed, further discussion on the list appreciated
