It doesn't fix the world food problem either.
This is a known thing for many years as well.

Let's drop the dist tag and the repo tag !
That won't fix the world food problem either, but hey, it's an argument 
like any other.

Let's kill the discussion with bogus arguments so normal people don't 
understand anything anymore and get sick of the thread and the topic as 
well.

I've seen the tactic before. The majority of my users think a repotag and 
disttag is useful. I think you're the only one denying the use of both. 
Others at least accept it does fix something. Whether they believe it is a 
real issue is something else.

Fact is, I will stop using a repotag since EPEL is not coming to a 
conclusion and I think it never will. This is going nowhere.


PS One of the reasons blocking me from joining EPEL is exactly discussions 
like this. It burned me out during the initial Fedora Extras discussions 
as well. And it drove me from the Fedora mailinglists. And you (and 
Jeff) were directly responsible for that. I just don't have the time to 
read or reply to discussions like this with you.

So whatever you blame Axel for...
