yum-cron and CentOS

Which is exactly the reasons why my statement had a "that's not strictly
needed" in it ;-)

But yum is part of RHEL5 and yum-updatesd is as well. So I'd say
yum-cron is not strictly needed. But let's not discuss this further.
It's a academical discussion that doesn't lead to anything and is likely
not worth to continue it.
