I failed to send out an agenda for todays meeting, as I didn't have any items for it. ;) Also, we never decided if we will move the meeting because of DST no longer being in effect, or keep it at the same UTC time. Thoughts? This might be a good time to change the meeting time/day, but given how hard it was to come up with a day folks liked last time it might not be practical. kevin -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Affected any SRPM build that used 'expect'. - hard spec file dep on python >= 2.4 due to python syntax changes. - resultdir can now contain python-string substitutions for any variable in the chroot config. rebuild my.src.rpm - add 'dist' variable to all chroot config files so that it is available for resultdir substitutions. - give good error message when logging.ini cannot be found. - change default logging format to remove verbosity from build.log. - make logging format configurable from defaults.cfg or chroot cfg. - less verbose state.log format * Mon Oct 22 2007 Michael Brown - 0.8.4-1 - fix reported 'bad owner/group' from rpm in some configurations. * Mon Oct 22 2007 Michael Brown - 0.8.3-1 - BZ# 336361 -- cannot su - mockbuild - BZ# 326561 -- update manpage - BZ# 235141 -- error with immutable bit * Sat Oct 20 2007 Michael Brown - 0.8.0-1 - huge number of changes upstream - convert to setuid wrapper instead of old setuid helper - lots of bugfixes and improvements - /var/cache/yum now saved and bind-mounted - ccache integration - rootcache improvements (formerly called autocache) * Mon Aug 27 2007 Michael Brown - 0.7.6-1 - ensure /etc/hosts is created in chroot properly * Mon Aug 13 2007 Clark Williams - 0.7.5-2 - build fix from Roland McGrath to fix compile of selinux lib * Wed Aug 8 2007 Clark Williams - 0.7.5-1 - orphanskill feature (BZ#221351) * Wed Aug 8 2007 Michael Brown - 0.7.5-1 - add example configs to defaults.cfg - dont rebuild cache if not clean build (BZ#250425) * Wed Jul 18 2007 Michael Brown - 0.7.4-1 - return child exit status, so we properly report subcommand failures -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #516355 - newest mock not working on RHEL5 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=516355 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ================================================================================ myproxy-4.8-6.el4 (FEDORA-EPEL-2009-0856) Manage X.509 Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) security credentials -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: The myproxy-test command required grid-cert-info to be available necestating an extra Requires on globus-gsi-cert-utils. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Fri Nov 13 2009 Steve Traylen - 4.9-6 - Add requires globus-gsi-cert-utils-progs for grid-proxy-info to myproxy-admin package rhbz#536927 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #537384 - myproxy-test is missing dependency on grid-cert-info https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=537384 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ================================================================================ perl-Event-1.13-1.el4 (FEDORA-EPEL-2009-0858) Event loop processing -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: First version of perl-Event in epel4, includes update to latest version. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #194559 - Review Request: perl-Event https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=194559 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From updates at fedoraproject.org Wed Nov 18 22:57:49 2009 From: updates at fedoraproject.org (updates at fedoraproject.org) Date: Wed, 18 Nov 2009 22:57:49 +0000 Subject: Fedora EPEL 5 updates-testing report Message-ID: <20091118225750.04D7C10F8A0@bastion2.fedora.phx.redhat.com> The following builds have been pushed to Fedora EPEL 5 updates-testing django-typepad-1.0.2-1.el5 ktorrent-2.2.8-1.el5 perl-Guard-1.021-1.el5 perl-Net-CIDR-0.13-2.el5 php-pear-PHP-CodeSniffer-1.2.1-1.el5 php-pear-PhpDocumentor-1.4.3-1.el5 python-lockfile-0.8-2.el5 stonevpn-0.4.4-2.el5 typepad-motion-1.0.2-1.el5 Details about builds: ================================================================================ django-typepad-1.0.2-1.el5 (FEDORA-EPEL-2009-0872) A helper Django app for making TypePad applications -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This update brings the TypePad Motion platform to the latest upstream version, fixing a few bugs. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ================================================================================ ktorrent-2.2.8-1.el5 (FEDORA-EPEL-2009-0874) A BitTorrent program -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This build includes security fixes to the webinterface plugin. This package is currently very arch-specific as it's used for collecting instruction trace data to feed into a timer accurate simulator. The architecture in question is IBM PowerPC. Since Fedora has demoted ppc/ppc64 from being a primary arch (starting with F13), I'm wondering what effect (if any) that decision has on ppc/ppc64 packages in EPEL. I will want to target this package to RHEL 5 and (when available) RHEL 6. Are there any problems or issues I should know about? This eliminates the need to run "setarch i386 mock ..." when building on target_arch != build_arch. This is turned on by default. Limitations: must have 'ctypes' python module available, which is only available by default in python 2.5, or as an extension module in <= 2.4. If the 'ctypes' module is not available, this feature will be disabled and you must manually run 'setarch'. - Does not run 'clean' action for 'shell', 'chroot', 'install', or 'installdeps' (docs updated) - fix build for top_builddir != top_srcdir - fix 'installdeps' so that it works with both rpms/srpms - missing device file /dev/ptmx was causing 'expect' command to always fail. * Mon Oct 22 2007 Michael Brown - 0.8.3-1 - BZ# 336361 -- cannot su - mockbuild - BZ# 326561 -- update manpage - BZ# 235141 -- error with immutable bit * Sat Oct 20 2007 Michael Brown - 0.8.0-1 - huge number of changes upstream - convert to setuid wrapper instead of old setuid helper - lots of bugfixes and improvements - /var/cache/yum now saved and bind-mounted - ccache integration - rootcache improvements (formerly called autocache) * Mon Aug 27 2007 Michael Brown - 0.7.6-1 - ensure /etc/hosts is created in chroot properly * Mon Aug 13 2007 Clark Williams - 0.7.5-2 - build fix from Roland McGrath to fix compile of selinux lib * Wed Aug 8 2007 Clark Williams - 0.7.5-1 - orphanskill feature (BZ#221351) * Wed Aug 8 2007 Michael Brown - 0.7.5-1 - add example configs to defaults.cfg - Ii should be in directory /usr/lib/stonith/plugins/stonith2/. Is there a reason of this? Feel free to file a bug on it though in case I don't get to it right away. kevin -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... During the update, I had to perform a rpm -Uvh --nodeps on package heartbeat-2.1.4-10.el5 because it was in a dependancy loop with package heartbeat-gui-2.1.4-10.el5. Only point is: when I launch command: stonith -t bladehpi -p "{SYSTEM_CHASSIS,1}" -l I get the list of the blades hosted in the blade center and then a beautiful seg fault. But i'm don't think it is linked. Unfortunatly, I could not find any log. Thanks a lot for this build. If you can, please file a bug on it. > Thanks a lot for this build. no problem. kevin -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
