OK - that' a fair comment Peter.

Missing Dependency: collectd = 4.10.3-1.el5 is needed
by package collectd-sensors-4.10.3-1.el5.i386 (epel)

So dealing with one issue at a time, if
collectd-sensors-4.10.3-1.el5.i386 (epel)
needs collectd = 4.10.3-1.el5

The point I'm making is that collectd is not up to date 
in EPEL with collectd-sensors - regardless of what other 
mish-mash of repos I'm using ;)
