LuaDBI is a database interface library for Lua. It is designed to provide a RDBMS agnostic API for handling database operations. LuaDBI also provides support for prepared statement handles, placeholders and bind parameters for all database operations.
Currently LuaDBI supports DB2, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite databases with native database drivers.

Major bug fixes:
* Fix the opaque information setting in xrdcp using -OD (issue #1)
* Solve locking problems in the built-in poller (issue #4)
Note that the new experimental client library (libXrdCl) whose API has not yet been declared stable by the upstream developers has changed in this release. Users of this library needs to recompile.
The stable production client library (libXrdClient) has no API changes.
