[et-mgmt-tools] newbie to the term cobbler

Hello guys,

I got through this term "cobbler" often in this mailing list. I saw it's
website. There it says cobbler does provisioning. now what exactly does
provisioning means? what cobbler is? please help me with these basic
questions and let me know where to start off if i want to learn about it
more.
