Looks to me like you're trying to install Centos 4.4 as a paravirt 
guest. If I'm not mistaken, Centos 4.4 corresponds to RHEL 4 update 4, 
which does not support paravirtualization. Try Fedora Core 6, RHEL 4.5, 
or RHEL 5.
