If that's the last line in the xend.log, I'd say the bootloader is hanging while
trying to extract the kernel/initrd. What happens if you run the domUloader.py
script directly with the args shown in the log ?
It sounds like the virt-clone command itself completed successfully but it
may be worth checking in /root/.virtinst/virt-clone.log to see if any problems
were logged. Alternatively run it in --debug flag which makes it more verbose.
