I'm not sure that I particularly like this, because I think the column
starts to get too wide & it looks rather ugly. It is a valid point though
that it could do with some distinguishing identifier. A couple of ideas
come to mind...

 - Show the full  URI of the connection upon mouse over
 - Make the 'name' column an arbitrary user editable string.

In the latter case, it would default to the non-qualified hostname, but
the user could change it to something meaningful to them.
