Running "cobbler status" from devel-HEAD in version control, I see the 
following output using your install.log:

[root at mdehaan tmp]# cobbler status

Actually it's much nicer than that, though my mail reader is not 
mono-spacing it :)

If this is not working for you now, it seems happy in what will be 1.0.
