When you want to manually search all the RPMS in this world for
some file/package/dependency yes, rpmfind is the way to go.

But when you want to easily keep a system working while installing
new packages and erratas, rpmfind (the command line tool) does not
really do the job (up2date does it somewhat, but it doesn't let
you build your own custom repository).
