Hello, with tune2fs -O dir_index i activate the h-tree function for ext3 to improve performance. now i am not interested in the journaling function, but the journal makes the system a little bit slower. is it possible to use ext2 (also ext3 - journal) with a h-tree index to improve the speed? or must the filesystem be ext3 for these feature? greetings Andre
