My $0.02:

Fedora is the best of what works today.
Enterprise Linux is the best of what will work for the next seven years.

For people who are happy to have the definition of best as a variable
that changes every 6 months, Fedora is best. For people whose
definition of best is measured by how little it changes and how small
the consequences of the changes are (very important in many production
environments), Fedora is not appropriate.

Saying that Fedora is the beta for Enterprise Linux is one of a dozens
ways to look at it, and not always the most useful.
