rpm completely fails as a method to track and deploy these things correctly.
We've got HUGE ass workarounds that make packaging a complete nightmare. Add
to that kmods will _always_ lag behind the kernel, by the very nature that
they have to be built _after_ the kernel lands in a buildroot.
Those are some technical reasons. There are many philosophical reasons too.
