So stop right there please: Could you rephrase this to "The direction I
want is upstream. Period." It is not the direction I want to see things going
at least not without a s/Period// and I think for that matter we do have
discussions and some form of democracy here +).

If we cut the last two sentences I totally agree. I mean that raises the
questions what we actually do deliver as end user support for fedora things and
if we should better document that nobody will guarantee support for anything in
Fedora.
