So which is the worse scenario?

1. Providing no support at all to MP3 users?

2. Encouraging MP3 users to break the law?

3. Pointing MP3 users to a legal solution that privileges a particular 
vendor -- with the possibility of including other vendors later?

There are no easy answers here.  If there we're, we'd have solved the 
problem by now.
