Fonts are usually not operating system specific. If its under Unicode 
encoding and a format acceptable to fontconfig it will work fine. Just 
drop the font into /usr/share/fonts or ~./fonts and run fc-cache on the 
terminal and check whether it shows up in the font listing in GTK2+ or 
QT3 or above based packages that use fontconfig mechanism.
