Hi all,

OTOH: I'm going to question the fact if we need a steering committee
> anyway. Basically I was stunned when I read that famsco has a meeting
> twice a year. I don't get the point of it then anymore.

absolutely agree about it . What is the main actions of FAMSCO today
globally. I can see the effort
of Rodrigo reggionally who is making a lot of things. But what if we can
"revisoring" the famsco role and
recreate just like a more active equipment.

Options can be

 - 2 persons per region as couf said. Representing Fedora worldwide.
- Proposals directly focused on spreading Fedora per Region
- 1 Cancellour Wordlwide.

In LA we feel some outside some times. Yesterday a newcomer ambassador wants
to join and the
the form didnt work. The way to become an ambassador are so complex that
nobody wants to join sometimes.

What about "non technical" ambassadors, needs an skils levels to become
ambassador. Supose that some
goberment executive wants to become fedora ambassador and the only thing he
knows is GNOME, nothing
about PGP but has the skills to promote Fedora. Leaving out this guy?....

I think that we must vote at first if we want this system going on in this
way or make a refresh. The real problem
is that, when u fly "a bit under the radar" as max in his blog, whe opinions
comes more weak.

Its more than FAMSCO, its about how to become more activa and inclusive...

My Dollar (my two cents are less that i propose) ;)

Best regards
