Thanks Paul. No things have not changed in terms of percentage, except
that it does seem to be large - but who's complaining :-)?

You nailed the issue. APAC stretches about 7 time zones, and goes
from Mongolia up north to New Zealand down south. I would like to
see how best we can characterize the region with sub regions so
that we can better focus and support the Ambassadors.

If you allow me to group the region into manageable portions such as:
1. North Asia - China (including Macau, HK, Taiwan), Japan, Korea and
    Mongolia
2. South Asia - Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal
3. South East Asia - the 10 countries of ASEAN: Singapore, Malaysia,
Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Burma, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia
4. ANZ - including Timor Leste, Papau New Guniea and the islands of
   the South Pacific

Did I miss out anyone? I know Iran and Afghanistan are not mentioned
above and they are Asian countries and would certainly want to reach
out to them as well. Left out are the countries in central Asia - if you
are on this list, please call out.

I would like to help build and strengthen in each of the 4 regions the
Ambassador community. I will take some time to detail some ideas
on the wiki. BTW, I am Singaporean and live in Singapore and work
at the Red Hat APAC HQ in Singapore.

Comments and suggestions welcome as always.
