I am not currently on my computer

On a discussion with Diana, we are developping the main icons like weather
(which I am currently working), browser, etc. Specific icons from applications
are on lower priority. There is a bug report concerning the integration of
echo-icon-theme on KDE [1] before the release of Fedora 7 [2].

I personally like a unified look on feel not only for GNOME and KDE, but also
for other desktop environment like XFCE, Fluxbox and else in order to keep the
consistency with Fedora theme. With the recent inclusion of gtk-murrine-engine,
I am not sure if there is an equivalent for KDE. According to Diana,
fedora-desktop team will have a meeting on Monday to discuss about the default
