Can't moodin be used? or just disable he splash completely.. that's done in gnome as well so why not in KDE to stay consistent with gnome? (not that i like it that it's turned off..). And if your gonna make it.. please try decreasing the size of that progress text.. it looks kinda ugly. Good job so far.
