Hmm, that would mean that mock would have to be an XML-RPC server. I
like XML-RPC, but that might be a bit more complicated than is
strictly needed.
How about shared memory? mock just dumps the state into it; anyone
that wants to know state just reads it? We might even be able to do it
through mmap'ing the state file...
Or a UNIX-domain socket?
