Sorry about that, I hope to fix this soon with nice documentation.
There are also gotchas that can be cleaned up in the code, like ensuring
that all necessary directories are created and accessible before the
server is open for business.  The config files also need explanation.

I'd gladly help out on configuration at any point though.

The setup is the complicated bit, and it's (slightly) more complicated
when you're using SSL, because then you have to do the SSL certificate
generation and _nobody_ thinks openssl is simple :)
