Yes.  In order to run buildinstall, anaconda needs to be on the arch
you're composing for to deal with the kernel modules and such.  You can
fake out i386 by doing 'setarch i386' on an x86_64 system, but not the
other way around, and not on ppc on anything but ppc(64).
