There is an upgrade script
(/usr/share/doc/koji-1.3.1/docs/schema-upgrade-1.2-1.3.sql) to upgrade
an existing database the 1.3 format.

Note that the external repos support may allow you to avoid an initial
import altogether, in many cases.  There is documentation forthcoming on
how to setup external repos.  In the meantime you can ask questions in
#koji on Freenode.
