a) Lege eine /etc/sasldb2 mittels salspasswd2 mit einem Dummy an. Der
Eintrag kann auch wieder entfernt werden, Hauptsache die sasldb2 liegt
vor. Dann verschwinden entsprechende Meldungen.

b) Wenn du alle möglichen SASL mechanisms anbietest, musst du dich auch
nicht wundern, wenn der Client alles durchprobiert und entsprechende
Fehlermeldungen im Log erscheinen.

250-AUTH LOGIN CRAM-MD5 NTLM DIGEST-MD5 GSSAPI PLAIN

erscheint bei dir, wohingegen du offenbar nur PLAIN (vielleicht noch
LOGIN) anbietest. Konfiguration korrigieren.

c) rpm -e cyrus-sasl-sql
Damit verschindet die Meldung über die "sql_select" Option.
