Why gpdf default again?

As much as I like Gnome, an application is not automatically the best 
just because it has a 'G' in it.  From my experience, you really can't 
beat xpdf.  You can easily print and search.  It renders well and the 
interface is straighforward, i.e. not confusing like ggv.
