The cards supported by this driver and the ones only supported by the  
legacy driver are listed in appendix A of the README [1]. Is seems  
that the GeForce MX 400 is still supported by the normal release.  
Have you tried the rpm packages from Livna [2]? They're not at 76.67  
yet (still at 71.74), but they allow for really easy installation (no  
xorg.conf editting necessary for instance). Download and install the  
nvidia-glx package plus the kernel-module-nvidia package for your  
kernel.
