However, ACPI suspend may be aviable. But there isn't any GUI for it
(Rahul: will ACPI suspend also be included in the "suspend menu"?).
To activate ACPI suspend, write (on a root command line):
echo "3" > /proc/acpi/sleep
Some computers are affected by this bug:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=166097
but it migth still be aviable by:
echo "mem" > /sys/power/state
If you want to use any ACPI buttons on your computer to do this, theese
can be programmed to run commands/scripts (as root) by modifying the
files in /etc/acpid. If you want help with this, just ask.
