Fedora-core applications can't be killed fully from terminal !

[hfuller at IBM-99-AFZ00 ~]$ xkill
Select the window whose client you wish to kill with button 1....
xkill:  killing creator of resource 0x2e00007

Maybe something could be done with that resource #?
