I don't know if you noticed, but most of the screenshots that are in the
article looks like the next ubuntu :

I don't know if these improvements are part of the next release, i can
ask people to know it.

Many people working on ubuntu works on GNOME as well. Maybe some of
these improvements will be included in the next GNOME release.
