We can't install every single plugin yum plugin by default. What you 
find useful is not what others find useful.  Every single non-default 
packages requires knowledge about that to install them. That is not a 
yum specific issue. If you want to make the functionality more visible 
one solution is to document them better. I wanted to publish a new guide 
for Fedora 7 but have got little help so far. Want to contribute?
