fedora 6/7 - why do you ignore k3b by default?

Personally I'm glad they keep things to a minimum. It seems like every
PC I've used for media mastering is a little odd.
In general, I've found k3b and nautilus to be coaster ovens. I don't
even bother anymore.
For DVDs I use mkisofs and growisofs on the command line.
For CDs I use xcdroast.
