I can second that ..... This is really cool ...

how about getting rawhide on this as well for people who want to have the 
latest and greatest ..... 

maybe through yum/apt (not sure what is involved in setting this up) or just 
like the local directory but the ftp/http site for rawhide (if apt/yum is a 
bit of work to maintain)

It would be great for us to just view the new packages through the up2date 
tool and choose through this to update that package or not.
