In case people are not tracking the current tiobench numbers from OSDL,
so far the anticaptory io scheduler (AS) from 2.6 isn't that hot on TCQ
aware hardware. Keep in mind that AS is the default IO scheduler for 2.6

http://developer.osdl.org/judith/tiobench/test11/

Given that SATA controller/disks as well as 3ware IDE controllers are
SATA aware, it might be worthwhile to possibly switch to using deadline
as the default IO scheduler for FC2 or maybe switch to that incase
someone selects a server install

Nick,Jens,Andrew are aware of the current issues wrt AS-iosched on 2.6

Also, it would be nice to have libevent installed in FC2 (that would
help get applications migrated over to epoll)
