If such permission doesn't apply to third parties, then mirrors
wouldn't be authorized to carry it, commercial redistribution of the
released CDs would be forbidden and you wouldn't be authorized to lend
the CDs your burned yourself to a friend. Sounds a lot like non-Free
Software to me. So what's the point?
