Firewire regression on shipped FC 1 kernel

Hi,

As reported in bug # 108916:

I use a Firewire external HDD enclosure that works fine with
-1.2105.nptl but not with -1.2115.nptl (which unfortunately ships with
the final product).

Suspecting the removal of the orlov patch or ACPI changes to be the
culprit, as these are the only items in the Changelog between the two
releases.

FWIW, I tested the kernel under a FC 0.94 install upgraded to 0.95.
