FC1 APT repo on fedora.us is hosed

Confirmed, you simply configured it improperly.

rpm http://download.fedora.us/fedora fedora/1/i386 os updates stable
rpm-src http://download.fedora.us/fedora fedora/1/i386 os updates stable

This is the default apt configuration for fedora.us.
