There is a thing called the law of decreasing marginal usefulness.  For
a man about to die from thirst a glass of water has more value than
diamonds, by the third or fourth glass he will go for the diamonds, at
one point water will become harmful (negative marginal usefulness).

Another point is that having six web servers in a repository is one
thing (only people who _really_ need something else will take the effort
to look at them) and another one is to include them in the distro and 
force the 99% of users who either don't need one or would be happy with
the defending champion to shift through them
