Probably not.

It's not a direct replacement like those kernels were; for example,
RHCA is not patched into the FC kernel.

For people whose needs it meets, I'd expect it to function just fine
on Red Hat Linux 9, but that doesn't mean that we should release it
as an errata kernel for Red Hat Linux 9.

So my expectation right now is that it won't be the source of an
errata release for Red Hat Linux.
