AFS and Fedora and the 2.6 kernel

Last time I heard the red hat in-kernel afs client didn't support
authentication or non-RO connections. but it's been a while.

I'm also concerned about the openafs development issues - though I'm not
convinced this isn't a problem of openafs' making.
