X.Org and the Dell Optiplex GX270

hi

i (and many others) have the same problem (with intels 855 chipset). the 
problem is the shared memory...and afaik that's kernel stuff and not 
anything X should handle.

that works fine for me (tested with both, 2.4.x and 2.6.x kernels).
