Yes, I forgot this one. I couldn't start kde applications after the kde 
packages update because there was no entry for qt-3.3 in my /etc/ld.conf 
and the line 
ld.so.conf.d/*.conf 
was only in /etc/ld.so.conf.rpmnew. I copied the line from 
/etc/ld.so.conf.rpmnew to /etc/ld.so.conf.
