rpmlint on binary rpm's

Should this be run on binary rpms too?

As my src is fine, but the binary has:

rpmlint netmon_applet-0.4-0.fdr.1.i386.rpm
W: netmon_applet invalid-vendor None
W: netmon_applet invalid-distribution None
