Should dhclient put an entry in /etc/hosts?

My internet provider assigns to my machine a hostname and it is not
registered in their DNS server, so I modified the "network" service
script in order to always run "hostname localhost" at the end of the
"start" section. I am sure that there are better solutions , but i
needed a fast fix ;-)
