If it works, can you mail me your modprobe.conf? I've tried several 
configurations I saw on the fedora mailinglists, but it still doesn't work.

... Oh, and what about xmms? I get a core dump, you also?

to get your NIC up and running, add alias eth0 sk98lin in modules.conf.
