It's not just an issue with the Linksys though. I was also caught out by
this. Since I don't have a Linksys, there were no problems at my end, but
I had plenty of trouble contecting to various websites (try clicking the
download link for JAF from Sun at
http://java.sun.com/products/javabeans/glasgow/jaf.html or connection to
IBM's Rational Rose site at http://www.rational.com/ ). These aren't
small time operators either.
And it's not obvious what the problem was - I could believe that one site
was down, by after several, I started to wonder and investigate. If this
is on by default in FC2, there could be plenty of unhappy bunnies with no
idea why they can't access certain sites.
